Wriggling Villis & Wobbly Tofus! - (3E1 2007/4E1 2008) Class Blog

Hi y'all, If there's anyone still reading this blog, thank you for your loyalty and faith in the bloggers. I apologize for not doing my duty to update this blog as frequently as I promised, but then again, this is only one of the few promises that I broke, so, pardon me.

Apparently the school decided to hold our graduation night at someplace in Chinatown, I'm not really clear about the details because teachers tend to only speak to the front rows. So anyway, after voting today, only 6 people declared that they want to attend the event, while the other 32 people voted to forgo the event, so to speak. Well I think the pricing is actually quite fine, considering the recent price increases on everything, but most of us decided that we couldn't afford it or thought that the place sucks. But I think the teachers wouldn't want us to have a Graduating GALA or some ceremony at a cheesy place, so I don't think that we should think too badly about the place. I don't intend to convince y'all to change your minds and vote for yes, and that's partially the reason why I decided to post this only after the votes. I think, subconsciously, all of us decided not to go because Ms Yong also left, leaving us with an almost completely unfamiliar new form teacher, which I think we are warming up to. I think if Ms Yong was here, she would convince us to attend the event, and would probably be able to add about 20 more votes for "Yes". No doubt there will still be "No's", because in our class there are many people who are more self conscious and more financially challenged. But my point is not that we do or do not attend the event. My point is that we should get closer to one another as a class, and we only have one more week to really do that. There are people in class that exist in complete isolation, because they choose to be isolated, presumably because they are more focused on their small groups of friends and studies, refusing to breakout to join other groups. We should change that. Our class spirit should be strong, and not fragmented into pieces. Its out last week in class together, surely there's some kind of feeling deep down that makes you dread our class parting ways before reaching the crossroads to meet again during the O-Levels, whereby most of us will be so focused on studying.

I hope most of us will open up to the class and share our thoughts more harmonically.
Once again I wish all of us luck for the O-levels, and luck in our future. Our future, apparently, is decided by our O-level grades, as suggested by our teachers.
So, because this is our last week together, I hope we spend the time well TOGETHER, and not get into fights with each other. It's time we learn to accept people for who they are; we are never always right. Its important to learn to accept criticism, it helps us to grow. Peace out y'all.
